The belt can be used to store and access potions. Moving the cursor over the belt area will expand it. Some belts will offer more storage space than others.
To access a potion from the belt use the hotkey assigned to it or right click on the item.
The default hotkeys for the belt slots are keys 1 through 4 on the alpha-numeric keypad.
